Navan Golf Club
Navan Racecourse, Proudstown
Co. Meath
Navan Golf Club is a golfing venue that provides you with an enjoyable yet challenging golfing experience. Located just 30 miles north of Dublin, and easily accessible from Newry and the North, its central location in Meath's Royal County, makes it an ideal choice to visit. The 18 hole par 72 Robert J Browne design comprises large sand based greens with water hazards which test the skills of all categories of golfers. The golf course is designed in two loops with 9 holes within the racetrack which give the effect of heathland with mounds and low level trees. The back nine alongside the track, are set in typical parkland surrounding with mature trees.

"I have played Navan at various times of the year. The last was in October 2010. It was an interesting day with a strong breeze blowing over the course. It was in great shape and was a tough test of golf over the back tees. The second to 10th is played inside the rails of the horse racing track with hole 1 and 11-18 running at the side of the racecourse. Some nice holes with water on them and the 15th has a tree in the middle of the fairway which makes it difficult enough. Its an enjoybale course to try and the attached driving range gives you a chance to improve your game."
